The Happiest Place on Earth

A quick hello to say we made it, and so far the trip has gone great!
Beyond great really.
Fabulously!
We considered getting the special needs pass thingy that Disney offers special kiddos.  But with all the main streaming that we're doing, we wanted to see how it went without it.
Then Disney went and changed it's procedures because of some abuse of the system.  So we gave up on that thought, and decided to throw caution to the wind and main stream Disneyland.
Well long story short, we doing well.  Not 1 single melt down on day one!
Day two has been a bit tougher, and we've had to reach deeper in our bag of tricks and be more flexible.  But it has been a wonderful experience for us all and so much fun!

Or course there are photos of more of the family members, but since it's Mimi's first trip, she has been getting the majority of the face time.  Her eyes are huge as we explore.
She totally flipped out in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.  Who woulda thunk!  I hope I haven't scarred her permanently.
We've found time for naps in the stroller, lots of snacks, and fun time to just be 3 years old as the big kids have fun on the big-kid thrill rides.
For now, just a few pics for the grandparents and Aunties back home to say we are having the best time!
There're a few more over on Instagram.

TTFN!

  3. Glad you're having such a good time! I'm not the biggest fan of the happiest place -- the crowds, the prices, etc... But you're making the mouse look appealing!

  6. My older two were both petrified of Mr. Toad and refused to even go on-- they loved Space Mountain, were fine with Star Tours and managed Indiana Jones, but wouldn't even try Toad. I've never understood it.
