Giveaway {Divine Baby Blanket}

Kicking off National Adoption Month, and I am so stinkin' excited to be hosting an awesome** giveaway!

{** Insert teenagers rolling eyes at their mom for using the word "awesome" in a public format.  They tell me it's very un-hip of me to use such antiquated terms.  It makes me "old" they say.  I assure them that I'm trying my best to raise the roof and get jiggy with it in our bloggie crib, lest I continue to embarrass them.  Yet, now they're exasperated.  Go figure.}
Don't you just love it when you stumble on a company that just makes you nod your head with a big ol' Oh YEA baby!  That's what I'm talking about!  Then top it off with an AMaZing product!  Oh I love love love it!   Divine Baby is all about celebrating our children's heritage and embracing diversity!  Yep, I said celebrating diversity!  As a mama of a mixed brood, who is constantly searching for ways to teach all my kiddos of different colors to embrace their differences, I so love the foundation this wonderful company is built on!  In their words, Divine Baby
"celebrates the beauty of cultural diversity"
Oh my!  That's so what I've been aching for!   I want to surround my kiddos, brown, yellow, and white, in a world like this.
It's my pleasure to give away a baby blanket from Divine Baby.  It's really more than a blanket.  It's a gorgeous quilt! At Divine Baby, different patterns represent different cultures.  I picked the style "Promise" because I think it will appeal to the most readers, but I think if you win and would like to exchange for a different style you could inquire with the company about an exchange.  "Promise" is the pattern that represents the Asian culture.
So here's the bad part... I really wanted to keep it.  I mean really really bad!  For my sweeties of course.  They don't need it.  But I wanted to keep it anyway.  I'm kinda childish like that.  {I know you are, but what am I!}  But we have plenty of wonderful quilts to go around.  So I decided to give it away.  And then I immediately changed my mind.  And then I changed again.  But I really want one of y'all to have it.  I know I'm going to regret the decision to give it away as soon as I have to put this puppy in the mail.  But that's ok.  To the lucky winner, I hope you don't mind that we got it out and admired all its loveliness first.
The winner will be announced here next Friday.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Good luck, y'all!

  1. Thanks for the opportunity to win! The quilt is gorgeous! We lived in Thailand for several years and now we work with a compassion ministry that reaches out to children and orphans in Asia Pacific called Asia's Little Ones http://www.asiaslittleones.org/ , so I have a very special place in my heart for these beautiful children.

  6. We're in - but can leave w/o saying that the model with the quilt is pretty amazing too! And just to help your kids give you a world class eye roll (and probably show my age too) "Dudette - groovy in the extreme" (and yeah - I used to talk like that!)

    hugs - aus and co.
