Today is Boo's 10th birthday!
Double digits! Could it really be a decade has gone by since that first, rainy, Monday that I saw him?
It was ironically Labor Day, and he was born 9lbs 15 oz after only 45 minutes of laboring, all the while I was screeching for the epidural from an anesthesiologist that didn't make it in time.
I never quite made it on the hospital bed either. Half on, half off, and the sweet doc let it all happen right where it was surely and quickly happening.
A quick pic snapped on our way to the hospital as Livy and Sunny gave their new brother a kiss.
This maternity top was snug! I was 2 weeks over due and evidently the size of a small airplane hanger.
I remember seeing him for the first time. He was full and round and perfect and amazing and I was in love!
10 years later, and I am still completely and totally and completely head-over-heels in love with him.
|I think he's in a stick-out-your-tongue-for-the-camera phase.|
Love you to the moon and back!
