Wordless-ish Wednesday {Car Wash}

Summer affords us time to do things that we wouldn't have time for other wise.
Like just being together.
Just doing a lot of nothing important for no other reason than we get to do it together.

As a busy family of 9, during the school year there are numerous commitments to doctor's appointments, school functions, social events, practices...
Our 2-month escape to Little Cabin in the Woods even makes it better.   There's no phone to ring.  No mailbox to empty.  No solicitors at the door.
Just lovely sweet time with family.
And the bonus is that Papa's parents and sister and her family have their own Little Cabins in the Woods just down the street.

Today we celebrated summer with a car wash at Granna's house.
My car was filthy!   And it needed to be washed badly!
I love the bits of pink polish showing through the bubbles on Tess's hands.
You just know he's gonna shoot that water gun at me.
Lest anyone wonder while a drive a huge gas-guzzler.
Patch uses elbow grease to get the roof clean.
Mimi is bundled up by Granna.
My nephew's tootsies!
The ol' paint bucket was actually filled with warm soapy water, so we knew this was going to happen eventually!
Little legs fulls of scratches and bruises.
Summer snack-time favorite
By the time the kiddos got bored and moved on to riding Big Wheels down the drive way with their cousins finished the job, my car was still filthy!   And it needed to be washed badly!

But cleaning the car wasn't actually the objective anyway.

 then, she {snapped}

Car washing at your little cabin in the woods looks like a whole lot of fun!
