We made it to little cabin in the woods!
Ahhhhh, summer bliss.
There an issue with a forest fire, the Wallow Fire, burning about 60 miles away, 180,000+ acres charred so far. The skies are hazy and all smells like a camp fire at little cabin in the woods. Forrest fires are pretty normal in these parts this time of year. But this one is getting big. In the summer of 2002 we were evacuated when the biggest forest fire Arizona has ever seen, the Rodeo-Chediski Fire, swept through, burning 468,000+ acres. We name our forest fires in these parts. Does everyone do that?
Praying the hotshots will be kept safe, and it will be under control soon.
But aside from that, all is bliss.
